Okay, so I think I figured out the rest…let me know: #1 Silent Night; #2 O Holy Night; #3 I Saw Three Ships; #4 The First Noel; #5 Angels We’ve Heard On High; #6 Winter Wonderland; #7 O Come All Ye Faithful; #8 What Child Is This?; #10 Good Christian Men Rejoice; #12 It Came Upon a Midnight Clear; #13 Angels from the Realms; #14 Joy to the World. So it was a joint effort…my brain, my sister’s…finally broke down and got out the hymnal (for the 4 I figure out)… : ) So, how did I do? Do I get the virtual cappacino? : )

Shary! You made it to my blog! I am so proud of you…AND, I’m so glad you like these kind of games!
Alethea, you win just because you looked in the hymnal and NOT google!
Shary, pastor’s wife in Southern California, meet Alethea, pastor’s daughter (that’s right, eh?)in Mid-Northern California! I present you BOTH with two steaming mugs of virtual cappucino with peppermint stick stirrers to enjoy together. Actually, let’s get three and pretend I am with you.

Wendy, thanks for the cappucino…it was delicious, especially with the hint of peppermint. : )
Shary, nice to meet you! (and yes on the pastor’s daughter part)

Wendy,
This is the beginning of a great blog site! I read your post about Mary and it was really insightful and I cannot read those scriptures without contemplating your words and cultural significance! Thank you!
As for this game it is really great! Tonight, being New Year’s Eve, my folks will be up and I’ll use this as a trivia game to play! Thanks! I would love to have some cyber java with you and the girls here only count me in for tea! Thanks for the fun while we are learning as well!

Alethea, thanks for confirming my memory does still function. Please do greet your parents and the other couple for me. I should be posting another article soon.
Bethany! Wahoo…now the East Coast is represented! I hope you and your family had a great time with this game…I’ve passed it on to friends for about 20 years now. And, I’m pouring you a nice cuppa. Tell J we said Happy New Year and hug the kids for me

Hello Alethea! What a beautiful name! What is its origin?
Thank you Wendy, for the virtual cappucino–the peppermint stick
!
was the perfect holiday touch–virtually is the only way I can
enjoy it since the real thing would take me days to recover
We’re off to a conference tomorrow–please pray for good insights!
Comment by Shary — January 2, 2007 @ 8:12 am
Shary, I will pray…and next time we’ll serve some ginger herb tea…would that work?
Comment by wendywrites — January 2, 2007 @ 2:58 pm
Wendy, I will pass on your greetings, and I look forward to the next article.
Shary, thank you, the origin is Greek and the meaning “truth”. Although we are Heinz 57, and none of it Greek, having a father as a pastor (learned Greek in seminary) helps explain the name. : )
